In her new album about love and welcoming all that comes with it in spite of the risks, Margaret Glaspy eschews her more folksy rock countenance for a synth-heavy, electronic sound.
Her 2016 album, 'Emotions and Maths', showcases her songwriting strength when foregrounded with a fiddly, rough-around-the-edges guitar work. She also made a song with her partner, musician Julian Lage, called 'Katonah'. They wrote the song in the early stages of quarantine during the Covid-19 coronavirus crisis going on now. Watch:
