Straight off their upcoming EP, The Vanquisher, M$neybag's new single continues on the unrelenting belligerence of their previous project, Fucked Up Night. The guttural vocals of Leo stand on its own, with nu-metal inclinations and a deeper, almost baritone, register that sounds ominous in its own right.
This track also features Huy (aka Hardshipbreaker) from Vietnamese hardcore/beatdown band District 105. His appearance feels jarring at first with more rap-like flows but quickly seeps into the aggression.
In a quote by Unite Asia, the band has stated that 'Face of Death' is about the hallucinations faced by their vocalist, Leo.
